From starting her career as a TV producer, to opening her own business that led to a feature in Boston Magazine, Travel and Leisure and the New York Times - Nikki Dalrymple of Acquire Interior Design out of Boston, MA and Brian have a great conversation about entrepreneurship.
Interior design wasn't on Nikki’s radar when she started a career in television (surprise!), but after traveling a lot and working on many different tv shows, she wanted to settle down. Nikki’s interest in interior design was sparked during her television career while she worked on set design for many different shows over the years. After several business plan iterations, Nikki knew she wanted to open a brick and mortar store that was home-focused, sell antiques & modern pieces along with a design firm - and that’s exactly what she did.
From complete gut renovations to new construction, Nikki and her team focus on the interior architecture of the home. This is a detail-oriented industry and having a mutual trust between the firm and the client is most important to Nikki.
